Fixed the problem! it was a faulty ram chip, or two ram chips that dont like eachother... ripped one out and wazoo, working perfectly.

Also when interacting with NPCs in any way shape or form. not universal, problem usually occurs a few minutes into game (5-15mins). Done everything suggested in forums to no avail. next step is i guess to reinstall my OS. BSOD says NV4_disp.dll...

Yeah, sounds like the same problem. I just bought a 60 day time card and really dont want to waste any more of it. I dont seem to be getting dump files though (i've looked all over the shop for one).

Why do you need cargo expanders in a salvager? you could salvage 10 lvl 4 missions and still not fill a shuttle's cargo bay... everything weighs 0.1 ??? i use a Crusaider with 4 salvagers and a heap of speed.
